What happens when feminist, reproductive justice, and trans rights movements from different territories meet to share learnings and face setbacks in rights together?
Between 2023 and 2025, Fòs Feminista and Astraea Lesbian Foundation fostered a community-building process that brought together organizations from Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Southern United States. Through virtual meetings and both national and transnational projects, the process sought to strengthen alliances, bridge regional gaps, and respond collectively to attacks against gender justice movements.
At Vozes, we accompanied the closing stage through a monitoring, evaluation, and learning consultancy, aimed at systematizing experiences based on active listening to participants, organizers, and facilitators. This work includes designing qualitative and quantitative tools, data analysis, and producing a final report with strategic learnings and recommendations.
Because evaluating is also about caring: transforming experiences into collective knowledge to strengthen movements and sustain their struggles in increasingly challenging contexts.
